The default desktop interface has gone from the easy to use Gnome to the extremely confusing Unity.  Meanwhile the beta seems to have screwed up many of the features of Gnome if you choose to go back to what they now call Classic Ubuntu.

It is not a problem if you upgrade from Thunderbird 2 because it just transfers the accounts across, but fresh installs can be really tricky.

It does actually import bookmarks/favourites from other browsers. It was two American men just starting at university with their laptops. One goes out for a few minutes and the other sets up printer sharing on their computers.  All so easy.  And it is.  Windows XP loves sharing files and printers - only if you allow it of course - but it does it so well.Vista is the new version of XP.  It is therefore better.
